Austin Meeting—RFP Clearinghouse

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Clearinghouse supports P2Rx goals by providing technical assistance providers access to information about funding opportunities that further the implementation of P2 related strategies throughout the nation.

During a six month period (7/02-12/02) the RFP Clearinghouse was accessed 2,660 times and consistently ranks in the top ten pages viewed on PPRC's web site. These statistics show that there is an obvious need for this kind of information.

Progress Towards FY03 Deliverables

Deliverable: PPRC and the other regional P2Rx Centers have a combined goal of adding 50 new RFPs to the database in FY2003.

To accomplish this deliverable, each center committed to providing PPRC with at least six (6) leads to RFPs being offered in their region. Regions 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 have already met their commitment, which has resulted in 44 new RFPs entered into the database.

  • Centers advertise and link to the database from their web sites;
  • State specific funding opportunities at each center's web site, through some sort of content shared way.
  • Enter more RFPs
