Austin Meeting—Topic Hubs

2003 Commitments

• A process in each P2Rx Center to perform quarterly link checks of the Topic Hubs.
• Updates to each Topic Hub implementing all agreed upon features to improve the consistency of the Topic Hubs.
         - provide a navigation link to other P2Rx Centers’ Topic Hubs
         - implement standard Topic Hub “credit lines” acknowledging the work of Topic          Hub developers and affiliation to P2Rx;
         - add a “suggest a link” function to their hubs, encouraging users to alert the          Topic Hub lead of a new resource; and
         - add a “rate this link” function to their hubs, allowing users to provide feedback          to the Topic Hub publisher.
• Contact topic experts to provide review and participate in a user survey and incorporate feedback, as appropriate
• Prepare 7 new Topic Hubs

2004 Suggested Commitments for Consideration

• Prepare New Topic Hubs
• Initiate effort to revise all existing Topic Hubs over next 2 years using QA/QC guidelines
• Improve Topic Hubs by adding new best links category
         -categorizing all links (e.g. like WRRC Industry Sector Pages)
         - providing greater detail on content of best links, and
         - putting best links documents on site or in WRRC Library
