I think we are at least one year away from getting a useable product from the Enviro$en$e news-tagging effort. Here's my suggestion for what P2RIC will do in the interim -
I have been interviewing graduate students to find one to staff a position that would include amongst its duties the responsibility to find P2-related articles and develop headlines, story summaries, then log in URLs - and why not - news metatags.
I'm offering to our P2RIC partners a list serve for these news stories - somewhat in the hope that the transfer of newsie information would begin to go two ways.
You are welcome to help me finalize the news categories for the list serves - and to join in the list serve of your choice.
