News Editors
The news editor committee is comprised of the folks who input news items at each center. Currently (as of Nov, 2005) editors meet on bimonthly conference calls. The current group includes Lois Makina (NEWMOA), Curt McCraken (WRRC), Joy Scrogum (GLRPPR), Thomas Vinson-Peng (ZeroWaste), Elizabeth Bird (Peaks), Nicole Carritt (P2Ric), Ed Gonzalez (WRPPN), and Crispin Stutzman (PPRC).      (11/05)

publication policies
2. News Functionality 1103 estes yoder comments – Laura initiated, Rick
replied. Unresolved discussion about functionality elements.
3. RSS based draft news data standard 0803 – unmarked (but we have discussed
and amended – at Jackson) draft RSS standards
4. Functionality Draft 0203 – describes functionality needed by three
different users, the reader of the news, the news publisher, and the news
aggregator
5. Draft News Scope 0203 – includes purpose and publication policy
6. Draft News Collection Policy 1202 – brings together several elements in
consideration of a collection policy. It references web site discussions –
one of which still exists.
