1.1 Programs Admin Forms - Overview

The programs directory keeps track of the organizations associated with the regional centers.

 

The web group has created an administration form to make the task easier.  Regional centers should update or add programs as needed.

 

If you login as administrator for the programs, the following screen will appear: 

 

From this page the administrator is able to add new programs, view, edit, and delete existing programs and access the Where to go for Help (WTGFH) section.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1.2 Add Program                                                                                                         

Once Add New Program has been selected from the main Program Administration page, the user will be forwarded to the Information #1 section.

 

1.2.1 Add Program - Information #1                                                                            

An organization’s basic background and contact information is entered on this screen.  An asterisk indicates required fields (the information must be filled in).  Once completed, submit the form to move to the Information #2 section.

 

 

 

1.2.2. Add Program - Information #2                                                                           

The second information screen asks for more specific information about the program and allows users to add the program logo.  In order to locate a programs logo URL, right click on the logo, open Properties and copy the Address (URL) into the Graphic URL field.  Once completed, submit the form and you will be forwarded to the Contact section.

 

 

 

1.2.3 Add Program - Contact Information                                                                    

The program’s direct contacts are added in this section. 

 

 

1.2.4 Add Program – Program Types                                                                          

This section is to associate program type(s) with the Program.  An administrator may also add new program types relevant to the Program (see 1.2.4.1 below).  Once programs have been selected and/or added, submit the form to proceed to Authority and Free Keywords section.

 

 

 

 

1.2.4.1 Add Program – Adding Program Types                                                           

Enter program types on the screen shown below.  When the administrator is done adding a new Program Type, the link will return the user to the main Program Types section.

 

 

 

 

1.2.5 Add Program – Authority and Free Keywords                                                    

Check appropriate boxes to link keywords with the program.  The administrator may add and/or create additional keywords relevant to the program.  Submit the keywords to move to the Services section. 

 

 

 

 

1.2.5.1 Add Program – Add Authority and Free Keywords                                          

Administrators may browse an alphabetical list of approved keywords on this page to add to the Program’s profile.  Simply select the keywords and Submit Keywords at the bottom of page.  You may also add keywords to this page by clicking Create Free Keyword at the top of page.  Once submitted, the user will return to the main Authority and Free Keywords section.

 

 

 

1.2.5.2 Add Program – Create Authority and Free Keywords                                      

Create Free Keywords on the page shown below.  New keyword entries are scrutinized in order to maintain consistency. 

 

 

 

1.2.6 Add Program – Services                                                                                     

Services offered by the program are listed in this section.  Administrator may also choose to Add New Service on this form.

 

 

 

 

1.2.6.1 Add Program – Add Services                                                                           

Fill out this section to add additional organizational services; once submitted the user will return to the Services screen. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once the Services screen is submitted the user will return to the Programs Administrator main page.  From this page the user is able to add a new program, view, edit, and delete existing programs and access the Where to go for Help (WTGFH) section.

 

 

 

 

 

1.3 Programs Administration – View                                                                           

This screen allows the administrator to review the new organization program’s information for accuracy and completeness.

 

 

 

 

1.4 Programs Administration – Edit                                                                             

Administrators may edit an organization program’s information here.  Once changes have been made you must click on Update to save the new information. The program will forward you automatically to the Information #2 section. 

 

 

 

 

 

1.5 Programs Administration – Delete                                                            

Users can delete an organization from the centers database.  Once an organization has been chosen for deletion, the user will be prompt for deletion verification.  Once an option is selected the user will be returned to the main page.

 

 

 

 

 

 

1.6 Programs Administration – WTGFH                                                                       

WTGFH allows the administrator to associate Topic Hubs with the organization.  By selecting Associate, the organization will appear in the Topic Hubs WTGFH section as either a National contact or a Regional contact.  By selecting Dissociate, the Topic Hub will not appear in the organization’s WTGFH section.
