      Research Projects Database

The Research Projects Database provides the latest information on pollution prevention research activities in the United States. The database includes the most comprehensive and up-to-date information available from one source — it currently includes nearly 650 projects, and will continue to grow as more research is conducted. The majority of the projects included in the database are those conducted by state and federal government agencies, and universities and nonprofit research institutions. Other sources of information are from local government and private industry research. Users can search records using by keywords or looking up projects by funding or sponsoring organization.

Projects included in the database meet the following criteria:
· Focus on pollution prevention or closely related topics.
· Generate new information.
· Have been completed within the last five years

The Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange is a national network of regional information centers: NEWMOA (Northeast), WRRC (Southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes), ZeroWasteNet (Southwest), P2RIC (Plains), Peaks to Prairies (Mountain), WRPPN (Pacific Southwest), PPRC (Northwest).
